Securing the Rental System:
How far in advance do we need to secure the rental?

  • 4-6 weeks in advance is preferable

How do we secure the rental system?

  • Signed rental agreement by both parties with accurate rental dates incorporated into the agreement.

What’s needed once you have received the signed Agreement?

  • IDI will require tax exempt & insurance certificates
  • IDI will ask for the Hospitals main point of contact for system delivery.

Preparing for Delivery:
Do we really need a concrete pad for the placement of the scanner?
  • Not required, just a level asphalt surface able to support a mobile trailer 50’ length, 8’-14' width, and 14’ height clearance.

What is the power requirements needed?

  • 480 V, 3 phases, 125 KVA, fused at 150 Amps.
  • MRI in Wye or Delta
  • CT in Wye (5 wire )

What type of receptacle is needed at our facility?

  • Russell Stoll DFRAB 2504 receptacle.

What requirements are necessary for networking the system to our PACS?

  • 1 data Cat 5 connection for image transmission
  • 1 telephone connection for phone service.

Service Support:
How does IDI handle the Service support for the scanner?
  • IDI implements your site into OEM’s database.
  • IDI provides OEM Site ID for reference.

Who is doing the service on the Scanner?

  • OEM Field Service Engineers located within your area.

Is the service support direct with the OEM?

  • Yes, you have direct access to the OEM Service Call Centers Technical and Applications support center.

How does IDI handle any technologist’s concerns for scanning?
